Thrivalaska Family Sprouts

Thrivalaska’s Family Sprouts program is an employer-sponsored childcare initiative designed to significantly increase the availability of childcare services for our staff and partner organizations. Currently, we are proud to collaborate with several esteemed partners: the Childcare Assistance program, Interior Alaska Center for Non-violent Living, Resource Center for Parents and Children, and the Alaska Center for Children and Adults.

Our primary goals are to provide a safe and relaxing environment where children can thrive, supported by dedicated staff who actively promote positive self-esteem, foster lasting friendships, and instill a sense of personal responsibility. In this nurturing setting, we assist children in developing and practicing essential social skills. We offer a range of stimulating activities that are tailored to be age-appropriate, focusing on promoting creativity and independence. These activities include science experiments, dramatic play, outdoor adventures, art projects, cultural explorations, and engaging gross motor games, all designed to enrich the children's experiences and development.
